Here’s a Copycat Starbucks Egg Bites recipe—creamy, fluffy, and packed with protein! You don’t need a sous vide machine; the oven steam bath method works just as well.


Starbucks-Style Egg Bites (Oven Method)

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • ½ cup cottage cheese (makes them creamy!)
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (Gruyère, cheddar, or Monterey Jack)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ cup cooked bacon bits or diced ham (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped spinach or roasted red peppers (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Blend eggs, cottage cheese, shredded cheese, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a blender until smooth.
  3. Grease a muffin tin (or use silicone molds) and evenly distribute bacon, spinach, or other mix-ins.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the muffin cups, filling about ¾ full.
  5. Create a steam bath: Place a baking dish with hot water on the lower oven rack (this keeps the egg bites soft and moist).
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the egg bites are just set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  7. Let them cool for a few minutes, then gently remove from the muffin tin.

Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
