This Garlic Butter Shrimp & Asparagus is a quick, one-pan dish packed with flavor! Juicy shrimp are cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce with tender asparagus, making it a perfect low-carb, keto-friendly meal in just 15 minutes. 🦐💛

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter (or olive oil)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated parmesan (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Cook the Asparagus:

  • Heat 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Remove from the pan and set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:

  • In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter.
  • Add garlic & red pepper flakes and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook for 2 minutes per side, until shrimp are pink and opaque.

3️⃣ Combine & Serve:

  • Return the asparagus to the pan and toss with the shrimp.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over everything and garnish with parsley & parmesan (if using).
